Delegation of the German Embassy in Bangladesh visited Caritas activities in Kutupalong

Since October 2018, Caritas is implementing a project to improve the living conditions of refugees in the Kutupalong mega-camp with funding from the German Foreign Ministry through Caritas Germany. An essential goal of this project is to improve individual shelter and upgrade them to so-called “transitional” or “mid-term shelters”, meaning shelter to be more resilient towards cyclones and floods. On September 15, 2019, the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Burkhard Duccofre, and political attaché, Ms. Ines Dworschak-Borg, from the German Embassy visited the project in Camp 19 under Kutupalong Refugee Camp for monitoring purposes.
