Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signed between Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute and Caritas Bangladesh

A MoU between Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute and Caritas Bangladesh was signed on 4 February 2025 in the Dr. M A Razzaque Meeting Room, BWMRI, Dinajpur for Sharing Knowledge and Technology transfer, Release and Extension of new Wheat and Maize varieties considering agroecological zone for agricultural crop production. Dr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Director General of BWMRI and Mr. Sebastian Rozario, Executive Director of CB signed the contract.

BWMRI and CB will collaborate with each other in participatory variety selection, knowledge development, conduction of research, technology transfer, capacity building of grassroots level farmers and staff members of CB on agriculture. Dr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Director General of BWMRI and Mr. Sebastian Rozario, Executive Director of CB are seen exchanging documents in the above photograph after signing the MoU. Among others Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam, Agency Program Director, APCU-BARC, Dr. Md. Siddikun Nabi Mandal, Senior Scientific Officer as well as Mr. Robi Mardy, Regional Director-Dinajpur, Md. Nazmul Haque, Program Officer-ECFS are seen during the contract signing ceremony.
