Dr. Brother Harold Bijoy Rodrigues CSC passed away
We mourn the death of Dr. Brother Harold Bijoy Rodrigues CSC. He died 23 May 2020 at 11:20 a.m. at Asgor Ali Hospital in Dhaka. His funeral will be held at St Joseph’s School of Industrial Trade, Narinda, Dhaka on 24 May and he will be buried in the Christian Cemetery, Wari on the same day.
Dr. Brother Harold Bijoy Rodrigues CSC served Caritas Bangladesh in numerous ways and under different capacities e.g. as Secretary General of Caritas General Body from May 2010 till May 2019. He also served as the acting Project Director of BARACA, a project of Caritas Bangladesh and of Brothers of Holy Cross Bangladesh from 1994 to 2006. He was the Chair of BARACA. He also served as a member of Caritas Health Scheme for staff members. Lately he was leading the Central Committee of Safeguarding and Protection Committee of Caritas Bangladesh. He has enlightened Caritas Bangladesh with his vast knowledge in different areas.
We all, in Caritas Bangladesh, express our sincere condolences and pray to the Almighty for the salvation of the departed soul. May the Lord accept him into His heavenly abode in eternal bliss and grant us strength to bear the irreparable loss. We also express heartfelt sympathy and prayerful support to the bereaved family members and Brother of Holy Cross.
