President of Caritas Bangladesh visits Caritas Mymensingh Region

Most Rev. Bishop Gervas Rozario, STD DD, the President of Caritas Bangladesh accompanied by Mr. Francis Atul Sarker, Executive Director of Caritas has paid a visit to Caritas Mymensingh Region on 6 – 7 August 2018. The President has visited Dream project working for Street Children in Mymensingh town and he continued his visit to Madhupur upazila led by Mr. Apurbo Mrong, RD Caritas Mymensingh Region on 06/08/2018. He has witnessed various projects and activities run by Caritas Mymensingh Region in Madhupur such as Agricultural Field School for Children, Back-up Research Farm, ALOC-II, Aloghar (Lighthouse), LRD, CMFP, IMDC, etc. He has also appreciated the first ever digital land mapping intervention among the Adivasi Communities in Bangladesh while visiting the activities of ALSA project. Besides Caritas activities, he also visited Jachhatra and Pirgachha parishes in Modhupur.

On the 7th August, the President met Caritas staff members in the Six-monthly Regional Staff Coordination Meeting in Mymensingh Regional Office and delivered his message for the staff to continue serving people in need for the betterment of their life.
