Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle visits Caritas Bangladesh
4 December 2018: His Eminence Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, President of Caritas Internationalis, a confederation of 165 Caritas organizations across the world is visiting Bangladesh on 3-4 December 2018.
He visited the camp of the Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Citizens at Cox’s Bazar on 3 December being accompanied by Archbishop Moses M. Costa, CSC, Archbishop of Chattogram Archdiocese, Bishop Gervas Rozario, Bishop of Rajshahi Catholic Diocese and President of Caritas Bangladesh, Mr. Francis Atul Sarker, Executive Director, Mr. James Gomes, Regional Director, Mr Pintu William Gomes, Project Director (Emergency Response Programme) of Caritas Bangladesh.He visited Caritas activities such as LPG distribution, Visit Model Shelter, Transitional Shelter and Bare Foot Counselor Project, Child Friendly Space (CFS) at Camp 4 and Camp 4 extension area. He also met and discussed with some Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Citizens during the visit.
