Caritas participated in Human Chain with ADAB

16 September: Caritas Bangladesh, as a member of Association of Development Agencies in Bangladesh (ADAB), participated in a human chain today protesting prosecution of Rohingyas in Myanmar in front of National Press Club. The slogan was বিশ্ব বিবেক জাগ্রত হও, রোহিঙ্গা নিপিড়ন বন্ধে কন্ঠ মিলাও/World conscience become awakened, let us raise voice to stop harassing Rohingya. Over 50 staff members from different Offices of Caritas took part in the event. The event was presided over by Mr. Joyanta Adhikari, Executive Director of Christian Commission for the Development of Bangladesh (CCDB) and chairperson of ADAB where Ms Anita Margaret Rozario, Manager Human Resource of Caritas Bangladesh spoke among others.
