Celebrating International Women’s day at Rohingya Camp

On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021, Emergency Response Project (ERP) of Caritas Bangladesh (CB) celebrated an event at Rohingya Camp 19 under the project Multipurpose Women and Girls Center (MWGC). With the presence of CiC (Camp in Charge) along with other government representatives, officials from CB –ERP and women and community leader, and common men- women participants formed a human chain with a view to promote the essence of this significant day. During the participatory discussion at the event, both male and female shared about the fact that Women’s equal rights can only be established when both men and women could jointly work for this common goal. Everyone certainly desires for an equal world with justified women’s rights. While celebrating the day, musical performances, art competition and prize handing over ceremony took place accordingly.
